Recipe From: www.thepioneerwoman.com/cooking

Peel & slice Granny Smith apples.

Sliced apples ready to go into the crescent rolls.

Once this dish is done; you can't even tell you used Crescent Rolls.
PS: I feel like a kid again opening these tubes; with the popping sound it makes!

Roll out.

Roll up.

Prepare the pan with butter.

Put the bundles in the pan.

Melt the butter on the stove, then add the sugar and then vanilla. Make sure to follow what the directions say and DO NOT OVER MIX!

Sugary goodness poured evenly over top and now ready for the unique ingredient!...

Yes, that's right! Mountain Dew!

Pour around the edges of the pan; yes it will work its way to the middle.

Sprinkle cinnamon over top & place in the oven.

All done! The crispy top goes great with the gooey bottom!
Note: When you go to take it out of the oven; it will seem jiggly on the bottom and not done, but don't worry, it is and you definitely don't want to overbake it!
Don't you just want to eat it, right now!? Just wait until some of the next pictures!...
Did someone say ice cream?!
Jamyson's favorite brand of ice cream.

Now that's more like it!
Crunchy top, gooey bottom and all warm...with ice cream on top; can't get much better than that!

  2. Freakin delicious!!!! I brought those to my folks house yesterday for a dessert and it was great. But next time I think I will play around a little and not use so much sugar and butter and roll up more apples per dough triangle.
